Enjoy browsing my 'new and improved' blog!
A Spring Newsletter will be published soon.
Note the 'tabs' at the top of the page now giving expanded content. I will soon have a list of suggested patterns for beginning sewers as well.
I spent all day sewing today building up my inventory of items for sale - please visit often and feel free to share my retail site blog with others who would appreciate the quality of hand-crafted children's clothing, home decor and whimsical accessories (http://www.kittywonkus.blogspot.com/). Christmas Party 2010
Whooooo's been watching whether you've been naughy or nice? We had a 'hoot' making owls at our Christmas party this year!
Pizza, oven-fresh brownies, chips, pretzels, chocolates, fresh pineapple, cran-grape juice . . . and goodie bags to take home with homemade 'turtles'!

Christmas Party 2009
We spent an hour sewing finishing up some Christmas gifts and crafts and then partied with yummy treats!
I've been having some fun lately . . .
Water bottle jackets for our stainless steel water bottles that are cold to hold when filled with ice water . . .
A lap quilt for my mom . . .
A set of six placemats and napkins for my m-i-l for Christmas . . .
A set of cushions for a client's dining room x 10 . . .
A reversible mouse pad for my computer desk with a removable rice-filled packet for my wrist so I can wash it. My office gets really cold and it's irritating to my wrist resting on the cold desk so I made it out of flannel on one side and soft corduroy on the other.

A repurposed pair of jeans turned into a skirt . . .
A wrist pin cushion from some fun scraps . . .
A denim bag made from a pair of jeans the girls grew out of. The embroidery was on the lower pant leg. Pretty much used up the whole pair of jeans by the time I was done, even one of the back pockets went on the inside of the bag (lined) as a pocket!
A pair of pyjamas for my daughter's class project at school sending jammies to Africa . . .
